Silicone oil is known for its greater stability and non-toxic use at high temperatures, low surface tension and high diffusion force.  It is a mixture of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and dimethylsiloxane and dimethylsiloxane. It is widely used in industrial products because of its non-toxic, high lubricity and stable film band formation and other unique properties, and is widely used in lubricants, electrical insulators, laboratories, defoams and other fields.  Silicone oils were selected by improving their lubrication properties in mechanical systems such as resins, films, satellites and space vehicles.  The aim of this study was to evaluate and distinguish the properties of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) or silicone oils to show their mechanical and thermal properties.  In the industrial field, that is to improve their adhesive and contact Angle performance, so that its long-term durability and stability.  The purpose of this review is to describe and distinguish the properties of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and silicone oils in order to show their mechanical and thermal properties, their luminescence properties and their importance in daily life and industry.  In addition, silicone oil and its derivatives such as polymethylhydrosiloxane, amino silicone, phenylmethyl silicone, vinyl silicone and hydrosilicone oil play a key role in curing agents, hair care cosmetics and shampoos, as well as in the anti-stick treatment of thermostatic fluid.  This paper reviews the important and potential properties of polymethylsiloxane, amino silicone oil, phenylmethyl silicone oil, vinyl silicone oil and hydrogen silicone oil in various industrial fields.  This paper reviews the application of crosslinking, copolymerization and coupling agent in different reactions.  In addition, synthetic types of compounds are also used for different properties, giving excellent results.  This paper focuses on the benefits of silicone oil in various fields.  Silicone oil has excellent lubricity, smooth sliding, wettability, mechanical strength, mechanical stability and high performance coating properties.  Silicone oil also helps reduce surface tension and retain moisture.
